Sushi? Yes Please!!

You wouldn't believe my reaction when I first learned that I couldn't eat sushi till I was done being pregnant, I mean seriously, as someone who was a die-hard anime fan I couldn't live without my sushi...

Okay, that's a big fat lie I honestly wouldn't have cared if no one had told me. BUT my loving sister just had to have some for her birthday dinner, which was supposed to be in January but she was always busy. Tonight we finally got around to having that dinner and I was content with crab legs, fried dough, rice, and California Rolls.

But the real highlight of the night was the car ride to and from the buffet, I always love family nights because it means that I'm stuck in a very small car with four other people who are just about, if not more random than I am. My youngest sister (age 7) has been watching Mama Mia non stop for the past two days and has most of the songs memorized. She was singing the whole way there, so Hanna (the second youngest aged 15) and I start belting Rent to combat her. That ended in a minor temper tantrum from the 7 year old which earned her a minor beating from the 15 year old (my family is so violent, I'm surprised I have such an even temper o.O) Which in turn resulted in my mother threatening to ruin her dinner by eating them both just so they would shut up.

But Hanna isn't always the bad guy, the two of them will start going back and forth exchanging blows playfully, and then she'll get bored and say no more... the peace will last maybe a minute if we're lucky then the 7 year old (Lucy) will start egging her on, maybe elbowing her in the side trying to get a reaction, it wont work at first but Hanna has a short fuse and a button that's very easy to push. Within ten minutes after telling Lucy to stop it she'll end up smacking her on the head or something like that.

Which will make my dad turn around and chastise Hanna for starting everything and how everything is Hanna's fault and how she did this or that when she was younger (not even pertaining to the topic at hand) which just gets everyone irritated (at least it irritates me because Lucy isn't always innocent, actually she rarely is :S)

Anyway, what else did I do today? Well, I had a little spa day, shaved my legs (it's harder than it sounds with this tummy in the way :S), washed my hair maybe five times, took a bath, then a shower, then a bath again, filed my nails. Then after I was all squeaky clean I blow dried and straightened my hair and put on make up, I was feeling awesome today, and totally ready to devour those California rolls ♥

Hope tomorrow is as eventful as today was, I don't have school tomorrow so I'm a little short on things to do, maybe if I'm lucky my friend will get back in town and we can go to Heckle's. Either way I'm sure something will get on my nerves enough for me to talk about it.

Toodles,

Meghan :D
